Shipyard: Mykolaiv. Laid Down: 6th May 1894. Launched: 20th August 1896. Commissioned: August 1899.
‘Rostyslav’ was considered an obsolete ship at the start of WWI, but was kept in the Fleet because of a lack of Battleships. In December the crew supported the Ukrainization of the Black Sea Fleet and on the 29th April 1918 the Ukrainian flag was raised on this ship in Sevastopol.

Displacement: 10,520 tonnes. Length: 107.2 metres. Beam: 20.73 metres. Hull: 7.82 metres.
Propulsion: 2 vertical steam engines of 8,800 horsepower.
Max Speed: 15.8 knots. Complement: 28 officers and 606 seamen.
Armour: belt 368–203 mm, deck 76–51 mm, gun turrets 254–127 mm, gun turrets 152–127 mm, casemate battery 127 mm, conning tower 152 mm.
Armaments. 4 guns – 254 mm, 8 guns – 152 mm, 12 guns – 47 mm, 16 guns – 37 mm and 6 torpedo tubes 381 mm.
