Shipyard: Sevastopol. Laid Down: 23rd April 1891. Launched: 26th February 1892. Commissioned: September 1893.
This ship was part of the first series of Ironclads that entered the Black Sea Fleet. Before the outbreak of WWI this aged ship was rearmed with 14 152-mm guns and was used for training purposes. At the start of WWI it became the Command Ship of the Black Sea Fleet. On the 29th April 1918, on the order of Admiral Sablin, the ‘St George the Dragon Slayer’ raised the Ukrainian flag, in Sevastopol.

Displacement: 11,048 tonnes. Length: 103.5 metres. Beam: 21 metres. Hull: 8.6 metres.
Propulsion: 2 steam engines of 9,100 horsepower.
Max Speed: 15 knots. Complement: 26 officers and 607 seamen.
Armour: belt 406–152 mm, deck 50–63 mm, barbettes 305 mm, conning tower 229–152 mm.
Armaments. 6 guns – 305/35 mm, 7 guns – 152 mm, 8 guns – 47 mm, 10 guns – 37 mm, and 7 torpedo tubes 356 mm.
